Customer Support Analyst Client Services

Alphametrics is a small multi-national software group with support and development teams in the UK, Belgium, Thailand and Japan. It produces a range of software products including Treasury and a browser based reporting product.

The Treasury Division specialises in developing, customising and supporting our Windows-based Front Office trading system which is used by a major Japanese bank across Asia, Europe and North America. It is also used by other regional banks in Japan.

The browser based reporting product is used by local authorities to report off an increasing variety of systems including Revenue and Benefits, Contact Centres and CRMs in the UK, as well as some commercial enterprises in Asia.

We have one vacancy within our Client Services Group for a good graduate (grade 2:1 or above) with 0-1 year experience. This is a customer-facing role combining implementation, configuration, and second-line support. Initiative and good communication skills are essential. The position will be based in our UK office near Cambridge but may involve some occasional work at customer sites and the possibility of foreign travel.

Our key criteria are a numerate degree or some evidence of an interest in implementing and supporting computer systems. Experience of one or more of: Banking Systems, Local Authority systems, Sybase, SQL, Visual Basic, .NET, Java, Citrix or Windows is also desirable.

The salary will be in the range £20,000 to £25,000 plus package, depending upon previous experience and academic qualifications.
